Young Guns Contest

Do you have some cool ideas on being the future of our beef industry? This is a great time to use those ideas to win cash. It’s time for the annual Alberta Beef Producer Young Guns Contest and we want you to tell us your Alberta beef story. You can interpret this in any way just be sure to use your imagination to tell your story. Submit your entry as an essay, video, blog, poster, social media campaign, etc. Be creative.

Three prizes are available:
1st Place - $1,000
2nd Place - $500
3rd Place - $250

Entry form

We must receive your entry by midnight Friday, May 31, 2013 to be eligible to win. The winners will be determined by a panel of judges at the ABP semi annual meeting on June 12, 2013 and will be contacted on or before June 21, 2013.

If you are between the ages of eight and 21, and are involved in beef 4-H, junior cattle shows or beef production you are eligible to enter. Must be an Alberta resident.
